應用客家語言文化實施學童品德教育之研究
摘要
客家語言和客家文化雖逐漸受到重視,但欲使客家語言和文化廣為更多人喜愛,因而獲得世代永續傳承,必須發揮其輔助實現公共利益的價值,方能使瀕臨滅絕的語言、文化由「被救難」的被動角色,轉型為「協助實現公共利益」的主動角色。本研究蒐集各類客家書籍、論文,並實地走訪代表性之客家建築,發現客家社會制度、客家諺語、客家建築之棟對、窗對、門對都蘊含兒童品德教育之功能,再經問卷調查探討此等文化做為品德教育資源之可行性,以利結合教育部推行之「教育部品德教育促進方案」落實於各個學校。經研究評估,此連結一方面可促進兒童品德教育,一方面可讓兒童學習到蘊含品德教育之客家語言和文化,可謂雙贏,又能獲得家長、學校支持和呈現「學客語等於好品德」之優良映像,提振客家族群對本身語言和文化的認同感。

Implementing Children’s Character Education via Using Hakka Culture
Abstract
Hakka language and Hakka culture are gradually getting emphazied in recent years. However, in order to let more people like Hakka language/culture and further be transmitted to the next generation forever, Hakka lanugage and culture need to have the value in helping support the public benefits. In this way. this declining language and culture can transfer from the role of to-be-saved to the acting role of helping accomplish public benefits. This study gathers information from related books/theses on Hakka and exemplary Hakka architectures. The researchers find that Hakka songs, Hakka proverbs, and couplets on doors in Hakka artiectures all have the function of cultivating children’s character education. To help promote the Ministry of Education’s “Improving Students’ Character Education Program”, this study futher adopts questionaire survey to invistigate the possiblity of implemeting chirlen’s character education via using Hakka culutre. The results of this study find that implementing children’s character education via using Hakka culture not only can help cultivate chirldren’s characters but also let children learn Hakka language and culture. It is a win-win outcome. Also, Hakka people’s identity toward their language and culture will be also promoted.
